Scott McKean Cohen, age 23, passed away Sunday, Jan. 8, 2017. Visitation will be today from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Gregory O’Brien officiating. Burial will be at Florence City Cemetery.
Scott was a graduate of Miller-Motte Technical College with a degree in HVAC and electrical.
Preceding him in death were his maternal great-grandparents, George Alfred Sr, and Mary Lou McCroskey, and maternal grandfather, Billy C. Cofield.
Survivors are his mother, Mary Cohen; father, Richard Rangel; maternal grandparents, Don and Harriet Bratcher; brother, Dylan Clay Owens; sister, Heather Lane Cohen; fiancee, Shelby Blair; and stepfather, Tim Owens.
