ATHENS-Elm Street near Elmwood and Oak Wood apartments was closed until 11:30 Thursday night, January 12 due to a traffic accident.
The accident involving a car and bicycle resulted in the fatality of the bicyclist. The person’s name is not being released until his identity is confirmed and family notified.
