FLORENCE-Pillar & Peacock an interior design firm held a grand opening and open house at their new location located at 320 North Court Street in Florence. Of course the Shoals Chamber was on hand to help with the celebration. Pillar & Peacock opened their location with style and the Shoals Chamber help with the ribbon cutting. Good food, good friends and a fun time helped Pillar & Peacock open their doors with a real flare.

“Brandeis Short and Adrianne Bugg
created Pillar & Peacock in 2011 to
provide authentic design in a mix of
styles. “We saw a need for a design
firm that really works to understand
who the client is as a person and
from a style perspective. This indepth
knowledge combined with our
expertise results in design for our
clients that is unique and authentically
“them”. We are excited to present
our studios in Downtown Florence
and Irvington, Virginia so that
we may serve our clients on an even
higher level,” says Brandeis.
Together, Adrianne and I
have over 10 years of solid experience
in design. We have

from boutique hospitality
(The Bedford Springs Resort,
The Grove Park Inn), to highend
residential design, to additions,
renovations, and comprehensive
design from the ground
up. Partnering with our clients
to integrate their thoughts, ideas,
needs, and wants with our
expertise to design something
beautiful and true to them is
