Dear Roger, Regarding your story written on Oct. 6, 2015 concerning the death of Eric D. Edgell, officer involved shooting, there is more to the story. This is Eric’s father, Tim Edgell. The local and state ALEA police depts., along with the investigator, Heath Moss, the Sheffields Mayors office, the state legislators, Robert Aderholt, office, all have withheld information from me for nearly 5yrs. Our family has not received a single police investigative report about my son’s killing in the woods outside of Muscle Shoals. In this day of revolt against law enforcement agencies for lack of transparency, truth and accountability for the civil rights of all races of people, this is an unjust act to the caucasian family of Eric Edgell. I’m sure it’s difficult to know that such unfair behavior exists within your state and even within your little community. No one seems to care or has interest in telling the family of a young man killed on the borders of your town, the truth they deserve to know. Tim Edgell
