Graveside service for Dale Mack Sims, 73, of Huntsville, will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Central Baptist Cemetery, Rev. Steve Rodgers officiating.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Sims passed away Friday, March 27th, 2015. He was born December 30, 1941 to parents, Henry Bascum and Trecie Opal Rodgers Sims. Mr. Sims was employed as a civil servant for the U.S. Army. He enjoyed coaching youth sports and later was an enthusiastic spectator for his grandchildren’s sporting events.
He was preceded in death by his parents; twin infant sons, three brothers, Gerald Sims, Dwight Sims and Jimmy Sims
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Carolyn Lee Sims; son, David Burton Sims; Daughters, Terri Sims (David) Douglas, Jennifer Anne Sims; brother, Larry (Sue) Sims; sister, Freda (Bervil) Davis; grandchildren, Lindsay Elaine Douglas, Katie Nicole Douglas, Jake Alan Douglas and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be Monday evening at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m.
