Clara Virginia Cox, age 68, of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, passed away Monday, Nov. 24, 2014. Family will be receiving friends from 4-6 p.m. followed by a celebration of life at 6 p.m. She graduated from Muscle Shoals High School in 1964. She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Phil Campbell, Alabama and a member of ESA Service sorority.
She was preceded in death by parents, Ray and Clara Smith. Survivors are husband of 36 years, Gary “Bunky” Cox, of Muscle Shoals; daughter, Samantha R. Hamilton, of Sheffield; brothers, Benny R. Smith, of Tuscumbia, James Cecil Smith, of Tuscumbia; sister-in-law, Sherry Hudson (Billy); and her beloved pet Max.
