DECATUR-On Monday, November 24 Decatur Police Department’s Special Operations Unit executed a search warrant at 3321 Valley forge Road SW in Decatur. Here is how the Decatur Police Department describe events during the search:
“On November 24, 2014 Officers with the Decatur Police Department’s Special Operations Unit executed a search warrant at 3321 Valley Forge Rd SW in Decatur, AL. Investigators identified the resident as Phillip Keith Casteel. During the search of Casteel’s residence a quantity of marihuana and drug sale paraphernalia was found. Also a short barreled rifle along with five other rifles and handguns were located inside the residence. Investigators located and seized a large amount of currency found inside the residence.
Casteel was arrested for Possession of Marihuana 1st Degree, Possession of a Short-Barreled Rifle, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia-Delivery or Sale. Casteel was later transferred to the Morgan County Jail in lieu of a $5,500.00 aggregate bond.”
