Bonnie Rogers Waddell, 81, of Florence, Alabama, passed away July 29, 2014. Mrs. Waddell was born in Iron City, Tennessee, was a homemaker, and a member of the Cedar Grove Church of Christ.
Survivors include husband, Tonice Clymoth (Clem) Waddell; son, Anthony (Tony) Rogers and wife, Carolyn; daughter, Bonita Rogers Erwin and husband, Rick; sisters, Hazel Behel and Jeanette Clemmons; three grandchildren; and four great-grandsons.
Mrs. Waddell was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Lee and Georgia Lillian Canerday Johns, her late husband, Kelsie Aubra Rogers, brother, H.L. Johns, Jr., and sister, Martha Ann Campbell.
Visitation will be today from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with David Paden and Garry Barnes officiating. Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Kenny Smith, David Quillen, Randy Baker, Greg Dial, Reed Canerday, and Rex Free. Honorary pallbearers will be her four great-grandsons.
