Mr. Robert Carl “Bob” Lutz of Bolivar departed this life Monday, July 21, 2014 at his home at the age of 90 years, 1 month and 23 days.
Mr. Lutz was born in St. Louis County, Missouri May 28, 1924 to the late Joseph John and Clara Krecht Lutz. He served in the United States Army during World War II in the 20th Armored Division in France and Germany under General George S. Patton. On September 1, 1965, he was united in marriage to Faye Vickers Lutz, who passed away February 22, 2006.
He worked as a Collections and Credit Manager for Great Western Finance from 1951 to 1989 before moving to Bolivar. He was a Christened Catholic and attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bolivar and served with the Loaves and Fishes program here.
Mr. Lutz is survived by his daughter, Sandra Dill and husband Vern of Stewart, Florida; his son, Rick Lutz and wife Marcy of High Ridge, Missouri; his caregiver, Charlene Hodge of Bolivar; four grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
