Franklin County Drug Unit …Meth Busts In Russellville At Eastside Plaza Apartments

aFRANKLIN COUNTY-On May 12, 2014 around 10:00 am, drug unit investigators arrived at Eastside Plaza Apartments to follow up on information that was given about several people manufacturing methamphetamine.  They interviewed 5 people and when access was given to the apartment they found 3 one pot meth labs and 2 acid generators, 2 back packs filled with precursors and equipment needed to manufacture methamphetamine, a 20 oz. Bottle filled with meth oil (liquid form of methamphetamine).  Persons arrested were Linda Neuheisel, Dewayne Lolley, Amber Batchelor, Cory McIllwain, and Anjelica Atchley.  Atchley’s infant child was also in the apartment.  All 5 people were charged with unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance first degree, trafficking methamphetamine, chemical endangerment of a child, and drug paraphernalia.  Anjelica atchley was also charged with two counts of attempt to manufacture a controlled substance.

On May 15, 2014 around 11:00 am, drug unit investigators arrived at another apartment at Eastside about the numerous pseudoephedrine purchases and blocks that belonged to Sheena Baker.  Upon arrival they spoke to Randall Baker who told them there were meth labs in the apartment.  All occupants were told to evacuate the apartment.  When investigators went in with sheena baker to get her 5 month old infant son, they found that on the other side of the wall from the baby’s crib was a active one pot meth lab still cooking.  Investigators hurried them outside and re-entered the apartment collecting 4 one pot meth labs in the hallway, 1 on a table in the bedroom, 1 active one mot meth lab on the dresser.  Also collected was a black suitcase filled with al the precursors and equipment to cook methamphetamine, and an abundance of paraphernalia commonly used in the personal use of methamphetamine.  Three people were arrested: Randall Odeal Baker, Sheena Baker, Michael Hudson Franklin.  All were charged with unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance first degree, trafficking methamphetamine, chemical endangerment of a child, drug paraphernalia.

The two apartments involved are located less than 50 yards from one another.  The information that lead to these busts originated from a traffic stop that occurred earlier in the county.

Meth is a strong and deadly chemical that can seep Into the walls and over time cause the people living there bodily harm I hope the condemn the buildings that they were in it would be a shame if they allowed a unknowing family move in and suffer the effects of that
