FLORENCE– Police investigators from the Florence Police Department are currently working a shooting in north Florence on Winona Street this Tuesday, March 11 around 12:00 pm. One female, 41 has been airlifted from the scene and taken to Huntsville Hospital. Investigators are questioning the woman’s boyfriend and are in the process of issuing a search warrant for the home.
Names of the man in question and the woman injured have not been released at this time.
