ZIP CITY-Family night was a great fun. The event was held in Zip City next to P&K Western Store on Highway 17 and County Road 8. And it’s proceeds went to benefit the great Zip city Volunteer Fire Department.
Zip City resident, Robert Walker told the Quad-Cities Daily, “This was held this past Saturday night as a place where families and people, young and old, can come out for a fun, safe night of music, food and friendship. Something like people used to be able to do back in the ’50’s and ’60’s. Good clean fun.”
Plans are to hold this family friendly event once a month for the ext three months.
QCDNews enjoyed the evening and the fine music provided by Butler Creek Boys with a great mix of Country and Rock music.
