Mrs. Zella Mae Kilpatrick, age 80 of Aroney, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2023. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 17, 2023 at 12:00 pm in the chapel of Adams Brown Service Funeral Home, with Brother Wayne White officiating. The family will receive friends and loved ones at 11:00 am til the time of service, and burial will follow at Union Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery of Boaz.
Zella is survived by her daughters Darlon Goldsby (Terry), Carla McKinney (Mike), and Rachel Golden; sons Bill “Tiger” Kilpatrick (Glenda) and Belton “Peanut” Kilpatrick (Shalynn); sister Rosella Nabors; grandchildren Micah Kilpatrick, Mesha Kilpatrick, Mallory Kilpatrick, Sumer Smith, Joshua Lightsey, and Caden Joe Golden; and great grandchildren Ryland Smith, Olivia Smith, and John Carter Lightsey.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Iola Redden; husband Billy Kilpatrick; sister Delilah Bowling; and brothers TJ Redden and Laverle Redden.
Pallbearers include Greg Redden, Joshua Lightsey, Mike Simpson, Brentson Kilpatrick, Brad Kilpatrick, and Mike McKinney.
