Zane E. Harris
Mr. Harris departed this life on Saturday night, October 2, 2021 at AHC McNairy County in Selmer.
The son of the late Manson and Elizabeth Jackson Harris, he was also preceded in death by his brother, James Harris; and his former wife, Betty Jean Tillman Harris.
Zane was a life-long resident of Hardeman County and a member of the New Bethany Church of Christ. He worked for many years with his brother, James, as they operated their own carpentry, painting and construction business. They were quite well-known for their skill and craftsmanship. Mr. Harris, also worked in a sawmill, was a farmer and helped build electrical sub-stations for TVA.
In his leisure time, he enjoyed playing country music in several local bands including with Steve Sasser and Edwin Brown.
