Zack McNutt – Obituary

ZackZack McNutt, 86, of Muscle Shoals, passed away Feb. 6, 2014. Visitation will be today, 2 p.m. 4 p.m., at Colbert Memorial Chapel with funeral services to begin at 4 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow at Colbert Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Brother Billy Thorn.

He was a member of Woodward Ave. Baptist Church. He retired as a civil engineer with the state of Alabama at the age of 55 after 30 plus years of loyal service. He ran A and M Body Shop until he opened Zack McNutt’s Used Cars. Zack was overall the backbone and number one salesman of Sonny’s Pawn and Gun Shop for 19 years. Zack and his granddaughter, Magan, opened Blush Boutique. He loved the river and outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.

He was preceded in death by granddaughter, Jordan McNutt; brothers, Arnold McNutt and Salem McNutt; and sister, Amy McNutt McWilliams.

He is survived by a special friend, Dot Sibley; sons, Larry McNutt (Pam) and Tommy McNutt (Micki); grandchildren, Corey Blankenship, Magan McNutt, Isaac McNutt, and Lucas McNutt;

and a host of loving nieces and nephews

Pallbearers are Riley Hamm, Ben Hamm, Mike Watson, Wayne Johnson, Todd Kirkland, Tony Price, Stan Stanford, and Alan Underwood.
