Yvonne Shell Strickland, 64 of Athens formerly of Sharpsburg GA, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at home. Mrs. Strickland was born August 12, 1955 in East Point, GA to Henry Pierce Shell and Irene Parker.
A Life Celebration will be planned at a later date.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Charles “Buster” Strickland; children, Adam Strickland and Dawn Strickland Gentry; grandchildren, Marysa Gentry, Justice Gentry, Doza Strickland and Jaydren Strickland; brother, Mike Shell, Sr.; sister, Jennifer Shell Brown; nephews, Michael Shell, Jr., Stephen Shell and Justin Brown; nieces, Kimberly Blaine and Ashlyn Brown.
Preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Strickland loved spending time with her family, traveling, shopping and lunch bunch with co-workers. She started a book club that she was very involved with and enjoyed Jazzercise. She loved caring for others.

Limestone Chapel Funeral Home in Athens, AL assisted the family with arrangements.
