ATHENS-The Athens Mayor’s Youth Commission visited Birdie Thornton Center on Wednesday, March 22, to learn w hat services are provided to citizens with special needs. The students toured the facility, played games like pool and air hockey with the clients and committed to doing a service project for the center.
