Yolanda Garcia Sherrill, 66, of Florence, passed away November 29, 2024. Visitation will be Friday, December 6 from 12:00 – 2:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home with the memorial service starting at 2:00 pm.
She is preceded by her parents, John and Romana Garcia; and daughters, Angelina Garcia, Margurite Garcia; and nine siblings.
Yolanda is survived by her husband, James Lee Sherrill; children, Romona Navarro, Joseph Navarro (Ondrea); siblings, Margie Garcia, Eva Garcia, Peter Garcia, and David Garcia. Additional survivors include eighteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Yolanda was a kind and loving woman who found joy in cooking and shopping. She cherished her husband and grandchildren deeply. The holidays held a special place in her heart, as she loved bringing the family together to celebrate. She enjoyed cozying up with James to watch TV and listening to classic oldies. Yolanda also treasured visits to her hometown in Chicago, where fond memories were always waiting to be relived.
