Xavier “Xave” Camacho was born on Friday, September 08, 1950 in New York City, NY to the late Alexander and Rose Camacho. He graduated from Mount Assumption Institute, Plattsburgh, NY in 1968. He attended the University of Oklahoma, Norma, OK for two years from 1968 – 1970. He passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Russellville Hospital, Russellville.
He is survived by his sister, Christine Santoyo, of El Paso, TX and by his brother and sister-in-law, Alexander and Mary Jean “Jeanie” Camacho of Phil Campbell, AL.
Xave was unable to work due to his illness with Cerebral Palsey and Dystonia. He was an avid baseball fan and loved the New York Yankees and Mets. He also enjoyed watching golf.
A mass will be said for him at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 01, 2013 at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Russellville, AL.
