Wyman Smith, of Sheffield, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at the age of 70. His visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Chad Holder officiating. He will be buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield.
Wyman was a native of Leighton and a member of the Baptist faith. He retired from Morrison Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Connie Smith; his parents, William and Zadie Mae Smith; and his son, Wyman Wayne Smith.
He is survived by his son, Kenneth Smith of Crossville, Tennessee; daughter, Rena Todd (Scott) of Tuscumbia; Bradley Jackson, who was like a son to him; brother, Thomas Smith of Florence; four grandchildren, Skyler Allen, Breten Allen, Shelby Todd and Savannah Allen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Tony Jackson, Jay Willard, Matt Jones, Cody Chenault, Bronny Myrick and Dakota Myrick. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Ledlow, Joe Morrison and all the staff at Morrison Funeral Home.
