Wylie Edward “Eddie” Phillips, age 64 of Fort Payne, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2020. He was born on February 24, 1956 to the late Junior & Hazel Phillips in Indiana. He retired from V.I. Prewett Hosiery and was a member of Plainview Holiness Church.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Sunday, October 18, 2020 at the Plainview Holiness Church with the Revs. Raymond Smith and Shane Trotman officiating. Mr. Phillips will lie in state on Sunday from 12 noon until the 1 p.m. hour of service. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Phillips is survived by his wife, Marsha Whitley Phillips; daughters & sons-in-law, Stephanie & Lloyd Boone and Lauren & Cody Hubbard; brother, Robert Phillips; and grandchildren, Kathen Allen, Tanner Allen, Amily Allen, Paisley Hubbard, Skylar Boone, Hadley Hubbard, and Leighton Hubbard.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kristen Phillips; parents; brothers, Rodney and Mark Phillips; and sister, Kathy Phillips.
