Funeral service for Wyendal “Hillie” Baswell 74, is set for 2:00 pm Friday at Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Magnolia Gardens.
Hillie died November 2, 2021 at his residence. He was born September 22, 1947 in Alcorn Co. MS. to the late Jim and Opal Baswell. He was of the Baptist faith, a 1968 graduate of Biggersville High School, severed in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Hillie was parts deliver driver for NAPA and Advance Auto before retiring.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Clifton Baswell; father-in-law and mother-in-law, L. E. and Novie Plunk; brother-in-laws, Gene Plunk, Jimmy Plunk (Connie).
He is survived by his wife Reta Plunk Baswell; sister Iva Nell Peters (Gary); sister-in-laws, Nila Gilliland (Larry), Glenda Ray, Joyce Plunk; host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Family will receive friends Friday from 12:00 to service time.
