Memorial service for Woodrow Wilson Brown, Jr., age 67, of Decatur, will be Saturday, December 20, 2014, 1:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donald Smith officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service
Mr. Brown, who died Thursday, December 18, 2014, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, Parkway Campus, was born May 16, 1947, in Morgan County, to Woodrow Wilson Brown, Sr. and Gwendolan McGee Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Arvin “Buddy” Brown, and one sister, Deborah Pitts.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ann Odell Brown, to whom he would have been married 48 years on Sunday, December 21, 2014; one son, Brent Brown of Decatur; two daughters, Angela Brown of Decatur, and Melissa Glaze (Greg) of Athens; three sisters, Betty Long of Hartselle, and Carolyn Burns and Jackie Blackwood, both of Priceville; and five grandchildren, Amber Glaze, Anna Glaze, Aaron Glaze, Justin Whitlow and James Vaughn.
