FLORENCE-UPDATE: We have an update from the Florence Police Department concerning the death of a former UNA student on Wednesday morning:
On March 18, 2015, Officers of the Florence Police Department and the UNA
Public Safety responded to a welfare check on the 7th floor of UNA’s parking deck.
Upon arrival, they located a deceased female. She was identified as Sarah Davis (23)
of Lawrenceburg TN. Ms. Davis is a UNA graduate and was visiting friends in the
Florence area. The Florence Police Department with the assistance of UNA public safety are currently investigating the circumstances of her death. At this time, no additional information will be release until an autopsy conducted by Alabama Forensic Science is completed.
