Winton Chaffin, age 81, of Lebanon, passed away on January 8, 2021. The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Rob Long, is 11 a.m. Monday, January 11, 2021 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN, and will be followed by interment in Wilson County Memorial. Pallbearers: Christopher Coffee, Bill Bryson, Walter Naylor, Kevin Sims, Tim Hestle, and Mike Reeder. The family will be accepting friends at Sellars Funeral Home on Sunday from 3-7 p.m. and on Monday from 10 a.m. until the service. The family is requesting visitors to visitation and funeral wear masks. Sidney Winton Chaffin was born to Estelle Dedman and Davis Chaffin on February 4, 1939 in Lebanon TN. He worked at Lebanon Woolen Mill, Ross Gear, and retired from Bay’s Southern Bread. He served over 50 years as a deacon at the Maple Hill Church of Christ. Mr. Chaffin is survived by wife Betty Fay Ray Chaffin, sons Jeffrey Ray Chaffin and John Davis (Kristi) Chaffin, granddaughters Hayley Jane Chaffin and Callie Rae Chaffin, and sisters Joyce (James) Fleming, Annette (Doug) Sims, and Janette (Gill) Rains.
