Winfred Markham age 70 of Guin, AL passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025 at his residence.
Born August 20, 1955 in Guin, AL, he is the son of the late Dalton and Shirley Barnes Markham and the husband of Teresa Hankins Markham. He had lived in Guin all of his life and had retired from the 3M Company. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Guin.
He is survived by his Wife of 46 years, Teresa Hankins Markham, Children, Tara Markham, Tyler Markham, (Rebecca), 3 Grandchildren, Mack, Adeline and John Tyler Markham, Sister, Sally Tucker (Dwayne), Brothers, Danny Markham, (Charlotte) and Josh Markham, Sisters and Brothers In Law, Becky Williams, (Gene), Donna Wilson, (Steve), Jean Chaffin,(Greg), Lynn Ritchie (Mike), Sally Johnson, (Caleb), a host of Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, and Cousins.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Dalt and Shirley Markham, Father IN Law and Mother In Law, Tom and Faye Hankins, and Grandparents, Troy and Selma Markham and Guy and Ruby Barnes.
Services held Monday, October 27, 2025 at 6:00 PM from the First Baptist Church Guin Bro. Zach Ritchie, Bro. Don Graham, and Bro. Zane Miles officiating. Pallbearers, Jason Burleson, Josh Burleson, Casey Fox, Beau Markham, Jessie Markham, Matt Peoples, Kyle Williams, and Chase Wilson. Private Graveside services held Tuesday, October 28, 2025 from the Guin City Cemetery.
