FAYETTE COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident has taken the life of a Winfield man:
“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 4 p.m. Sunday, August 23, has claimed the life of a Winfield man.
Alexander M. Greene, 20, was fatally injured when the 2004 Nissan Sentra that he was driving left the roadway, struck a ditch, a gate and then multiple trees. Greene was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash.
The crash occurred on Fayette County 23 near Dodson Circle Road, approximately two miles west of Fayette, in Fayette County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
