FLORENCE-Wilson Dam will be closed to traffic on Monday , June 20 at 9:00 A.M. to allow TVA engineers to conduct a biennial inspection of the bridge crossing the dam.
The bridge is should reopen at 5 p.m. Friday.
The inspection precedes a much larger bridge rehabilitation project TVA has scheduled for 2019.
You are asked to use alternate routes over the Tennessee River… O’Neal Bridge and the Singing River Bridge.
