Wilmer Gene “Ham Bone” Duncan, 78, passed away Dec. 21, 2017, at Helen Keller Hospital, Sheffield, Alabama. A native of Franklin County, Alabama, he attended Blue Springs Baptist Church and was a retired logger.
Visitation for Mr. Duncan will be today from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. Services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m. with David Motes officiating.
Burial will be at Blue Springs Cemetery, Russellville.
Mr. Duncan is survived by his wife, Evelyn Duncan, and daughters, Mary Ann Duncan Bailey, Norma Jean Logan, and Willie Lou Jones Houck. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Christy, Kaleb, Lauren and Randa; and one brother, Travis Duncan. Nieces, nephews, and friends also survive him.
He was preceded in death by parents, James W. Duncan and Exie Mae Duncan; and siblings, Billy Duncan, Dexter Duncan, Louise Duncan Weeks, Betty Duncan Michael, and Elvilee Duncan; and one granddaughter, Holly Elizabeth Jones. Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, is directing.
