Funeral service for Wilma Juanita Via Weeks Poisson, 90, will be Sunday, April 8, 2018 at 1:30 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ralph Henderson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Corinth Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, April 8, 2018 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Poisson died on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Limestone Health Facility. She was born September 23, 1927, in Lawrence County to Harry Edgar Via and Alpha Frances Swendell Via. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church and was a nursing assistant for Home Health prior to her retirement. She was preceded in death by two husbands: Henry Weeks and Marcel Poisson, her parents, three brothers: John, Lowell and Elmo Via, and two sisters: Nell Via and Treva Shaw.
