Wilma F. Labahn, 70, died on March 17, 2015, at Decatur Morgan Hospital in Decatur, AL. Wilma was an assistant Librarian at Arkansas Tech Univeristy in Russellville, Arkansas for 40 years and retired in June of 2009. She and her husband Charles, moved to Danville to be close to their daughter and grandkids. After retiring she and Charles traveled the world, from China and Tibet, to Egypt and many countries in Europe. She is survived by her Husband of 42 years: Charles R. Labahn, One Daughter:
Janadah L. Sartin (Gary), and two sweet and loving grandchildren that were close to her heart: Jasmine 7 and Ethan 5, two step grandchildren: Matthew and Kayla Sartin, One Brother: James Fields, (Virginia) of Boonesville, Arkansas, one niece: Sharon Fields of San Diego, California, and one nephew: James Fields of Thibodaux, Louisiana.
Her body was cremated and a private family funeral will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, her family is asking that contributions be made to Arkansas Tech University Library or the Charles and Edna Labahn Scholarship Fund at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, Arkansas.
