Wilma D. Stutts, 87, of Columbia, TN, formerly of Florence, died Wednesday January 7, 2015, in Columbia. Visitation will begin at 11am Saturday at Greenview Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 1pm in Greenview Memorial Chapel. Ronnie Pannell and Barry Gilreath will officiate. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Stutts was born in Florence to the late Hobart M. and Grace Jeffers Dowdy. She was a member of Jackson Heights church of Christ and retired from the Times Daily Newspaper with a number of years service.
She is survived by her husband, Henderson L. Stutts, Columbia, TN; son, David L. Stutts (Lori), Columbia, TN; grandsons, Andrew L. Stutts (Chelsea), Columbia, TN and Justin L. Stutts (Theresa), Columbia, TN; great grandson, Anthony Stutts, Columbia, TN; sister, Mary D. McClure, Florence, AL; nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Stephone Darby, Stan Gossett, Doug Hill, Ken Westmoreland, Rex Lemley and Wallace Morris.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jackson Heights church of Christ in Mrs. Stutts’ name.
