Willow Dean Pritchett, 92 of Adamsville, passed away on Monday August 19, 2019 at her residence. She was a homemaker and a member of Vestavia Primitive Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Forestdale Lions Club Auxillary and the Greater Birmingham Home Builders Association Auxillary. She was an avid reader, gardener and bird watcher, but her biggest joys in life were babies and children.
Funeral services will be Friday August 23, 2019 at 1:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Elder Sam Bryant will officiate. Burial will follow in New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Friday from 11:00 am until service time.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, J.C. Pritchett; her parents; three great grandchildren; two brothers, Allen Davis and William B. Davis and sisters, Rosa Lee Vickery and Hazel Davis.
Survivors include her children, Benny Pritchett and wife Jane, Geoff Pritchett and wife Melissa, Joy Blevins and husband John, Jimmy Pritchett and wife Cindy and Johnny Pritchett; grandchildren, Laura Reina (Frank), Holly Hopkins (Joey), Savanna Guess (Nathan), Graham Pritchett (Sarah), Whitney Blaising (Garrett), Morgan Price (Brett), Maggie Blevins, Mary-John Blevins, J.D. Pritchett (Katie), Jordan Pritchett (Allie), Caleb Pritchett (Jody) and Chelsea Pritchett; thirteen great grandchildren; sister, Icy Mae Cleveland; sisters-in-law, Frankie Pritchett and Luna Pritchett Hudson; brother-in-law, R.C. Pritchett; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.
