Willodean Wright, age 75 of Oakman, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at UAB Palliative Care.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 6:30 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Steadman Cemetery. Chris Lindsey will officiate.
Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her Husband-John Wright; Mother-Ella Mae Handley Buzbee; Father-James Ira Hyche; Grandparents-William and Ethel Handley, Tom Hyche; Brothers-Louis, Earnest, William, Herman, Henry, Alfred, James and Edgar Hyche; Sisters-Minnie, Estelle, Esther, Winnie and Mary Hyche, Norma Lee Wilkerson (Frank); Great Grandchild-Braxton Latham.
She is survived by her Daughter-Sandra Jones (George); Stepdaughters-Cathy Crump and Mary Wright; Son-Dan Wright ( Karen); Sister-Flora Mae Hyche Tegel (Paul); Grandchildren-Blake Wright (Magen), Katilyn Wright (Blake Latham), Tyler Jones and Brandy Wills; Great Grandchildren-Jackson Latham, Olivia Wright, Bethany Wright, Reed Wright, Dixie Wills, Mason Wills; Sister-in-law-Jackie Hyche; Special Pet-Tinkerbell; Special Friends-Jane Williams, Karen Robinson, Jane Thrasher, Jane Long, Pat Bowmaster, Deb Latham; A host of other family, friends and her prayer warriors.
