Funeral service for Willodean Garrison Mardis, 69, will be Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Speegle officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Corinth Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, May 24, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Mardis died on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born April 11, 1944, in Morgan County to James Aurthur Watkins and Laura Mae (Riddles) Watkins. Mrs. Mardis loved everyone and was like a mother to all. She was a homemaker and she never met a stranger. She cared for and loved animals big or small. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son: Ronnie Mardis, and two brothers: Wade Moore and Tiny Moore.
Survivors include : her Husband, Roland Mardis
Four Sons: James Garrison (Jonnie), Billy Garrison (Francine), Adam Garrison (Misty), and Michael Mardis (Danielle)
Two Daughters: Rita Garrison Ballenger (Dewayne), and Janice Swims (Gary)
One Brother: James Moore
