Mrs. Sarah Scott Countryman passed away on Friday, March 7, 2024 at Huntsville Hospital, with her family, by her side.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Hytop Cemetery.
Sarah was survived by her daughter, Barbara Countryman; grandchildren of her heart, Jayden Hymer, Raven Grace Hymer, and Layla Elizabeth Hymer; sisters, Joann (Ron) Coffey and Gail (Wayne) Williams; brother, Randy (Beverly) Scott; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Countryman; parents, John and Oneda Scott; sister and brother-in-law, Betty (James) McLain.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at Scottsboro Funeral Home on the family’s behalf.
