Willodean Fennel Thorne, 88 of Columbia, TN, formerly of Rock Creek, AL passed away June 3, 2014. Visitation will be Friday, June 6, from 11-1pm at Colbert Memorial Chapel, with funeral services to begin at 1:00 P.M.in the chapel. Burial to follow at Rock Creek Cemetery.
Officiating, Dayton Martin, song leader will be Keith Jones.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Stella Fennel, husband James H. Thorne, son, David Lee Thorne and infant daughter.
Survivors include sons, Stanley Thorne(Nancy) of Huntsville, AL, James Thorne (Margaret) of Springfield, MO, Phillip Thorne (Ginger) of Russellville, AL and Neal Thorne (Angie) of Henderson, TN
Daughters, Linda Thorne Winchester (Larry) of Columbia, TN, Judy Thorne Henson (Tommy) of Russellville, AL
Sisters, Marie Porter of Carrollton, GA, Tressie Champion of Russellville , AL, and Verna Fenn of Florence, AL
Seventeen grandchildren , many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Thorne, Jason Winchester, Bradley Winchester, Chris Thorne, Jacob Thorne, Robert Martin and Neal Quinn.
Willodean was a member of Srygley Church of Christ for many years.
