Willo Jo Phillips  Willo Jo Phillips, age 87, resident of Ethridge in Lawrence County, passed away Friday, April 9 at NHC/Scott Nursing Home.

A graveside service for Mrs. Phillips will be held on Monday, April 12 at 2:00 PM at the Gobell-Luna Cemetery in Lawrence County with Ben McAnally officiating. Heritage Funeral Home of Columbia is in charge of arrangements.

Born July 21, 1933 in the Pea Ridge Community of Lawrence County, she was the daughter of the late Hughie Berbin Gobell and Lena Clifton Gobell. She worked as an LPN in the medical services and a wonderful care giver. She was a member of Ethridge Church of Christ. Mrs. Phillips never met a stranger and was loved by all that knew her.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter: Pam Prince and her husband Dee of West Point; her son: Steve Moore of Lawrenceburg; stepchildren: Mike Phillips of Mt. Juliet, Harley Phillips of Nashville and Brent Phillips of Smyrna; 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren and 10 step great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands: Charles Moore and Ted Phillips; a son: Rickey Moore; 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
