Mr. Willie Robert Dennard, Jr., 67, of Arab, passed away on May 6, 2026, one day before his 68th birthday. He was born on May 7, 1958.
Willie was raised in Fitzgerald, Georgia and carried his love for family and community with him throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Robert Dennard, Sr. and Betty Mae Walker Dennard.
He is survived by his daughter, Leah Dennard; his sisters, Angela Olsen and Sherry Dennard; and his former wife, Donna Dennard.
Willie loved his daughter more than anything. If Leah was interested in something, he wanted to learn about it too. He always wanted to be involved in her life, support her passions, and spend time with her. The bond they shared meant the world to him.
He was a dedicated fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves. He also loved being outdoors, especially cooking on the grill for family and friends. Some of the best memories made with Willie were gathered around good food, laughter, and conversation.
Willie will be remembered for his love for his family, his loyal heart, and the way he showed up for the people he cared about.
