Funeral service for Willie Myrl Proctor, 84, of Hartselle, will be Sunday, August 11, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Speake Christian Fellowship Church with the Reverend Richard Riley officiating, and Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery in Lawrence County. Visitation will be tonight from 6- 9 p.m. at Speake Christian Fellowship Church. Mrs. Proctor was born January 17, 1929, in Lawrence County to Sammie Lee and Dorothy Rogers Melson. She passed away August 09, 2013, at Parkway Medical Center.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Proctor.
She is survived by five sons, Francis (Silvia) Proctor of Danville, Clinton Douglas (Rhonda) Proctor of Phoenixville PA, Darrel (Debbie) Proctor of Danville, Doyle Proctor of Hartselle, and Eddie (Bobbie Jo) Proctor of Somerville; five daughters, Margaret (Elbert) Hampton of Danville, Dorothy (Melvin) McLemore of Woodstock, GA, Reanee (Ronald) Watkins of Bath Springs, TN , Belinda (Gary) Rittenberry of Chatsworth, GA, and Teresa (Danny) Cameron of Hartselle; two brothers, John Dee Melson of Paw Paw, MI and Thomas Melson of Harriman, TN; 28 grandchildren, 46 great- grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
