Willie Mae Newsome, 94, died Saturday, July 27, 2013. Public viewing will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Thompson and Son Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home chapel. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Olievia Missionary Baptist Church, Muscle Shoals, with burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield. The body will be placed in the church one hour before services.
