Willie Mae Brown, age 79 of Estill Springs, passed away on December 2, 2023, surrounded by her loving family at the Manchester Center for Rehabilitation. Willie was born on August 7, 1944, in Winchester, TN to the late Ernest Bradford and Ola Mae (Bucher) Garner. She had previously been employed as a nursery worker and at the Shoe Factory. Willie was a wonderful dancer and enjoyed fishing when she was younger. She always looked forward to spending quality time with her family and was always up for playing Nintendo games with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. On evenings and rainy days, you could find Willie watching anything with, Patrick Swayze. She will be remembered by her family as being a very determined and sassy lady, who brought light in a dark room. In addition to her parents, Willie is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Summer Wooten, and siblings, Jackie Garner, Ernestine Partin and Virginia Lewis. She is survived by her loving daughters, Christina (Miguel) Munoz and Sandi Vargas; grandchildren, Jason (Kelly) Farris, Kim (Greg) Cash, Kelly Brown (Tyler Hendon), Ashley Johns, Erika Johns, Lauren Johns, Tyler Wooten, Christian Grey, Storm Lamroie, Madde Mae Vargas; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023, from 1:00pm – 3:00pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Moore-Cortner Funeral Home, 300 1st Ave NW, Winchester, TN 37398, (931)967-2222
