We are sad to announce the passing of Willie Lee Fleming, age 91, of Florence, Alabama, on Sunday, January 26. While “piddling around in his building”, it appears he went to the next life quickly and peacefully, and for that we are grateful.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 4 at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville, AL from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, immediately followed by a Memorial Service at 1:00 PM.
He was predeceased in death by his son, Mike; and his parents, Myrtle Arnold Fleming & Cleopard Fleming of Bear Creek.
Willie is survived by his faithful wife of 68 years, JoAnn Frederick Fleming; daughter, Debbie Fleming Chandler (Bobby) and youngest daughter, Lisa Fleming; grandson Cars Chandler (Libby); brother, Jack Fleming (Madge) and their family; nephew, Steve Fleming; and his niece, Cindy Copeland (David), and their boys, Hayden & Alex.
His true loves were his family, the family farm in Bear Creek, old cars, Auburn, Frankie the dog, cats, birds, visiting with everyone, a “deal”, and last but not least, his grandson
