happy JackWillie Lanson “Happy Jack” Harrison, 77, of Lexington passed away Wednesday,
June 10th, 2015 at his residence.
He was the head cook for Brach’s Candy Company for six years and a
truck driver for Moss Lumber Company for 46 years. He was a husband, daddy, granddaddy, great-granddaddy, friend, farmer and rancher.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 11th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at
Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Friday, June 12th at
11 a.m. in the chapel with Danny Pettus and Glen Richardson
officiating. Burial will follow in Hester Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joseph Wright, Jacob Wright, Ronnie Mewbourn, Joel Cornelius, Archie McCarley, Mark Hammond, Matthew Vaughn, Marty Harrison, Toby Mewbourn and J.L. Springer.
Mr. Harrison was preceded in death by parents, Willie & Hettie Ree
Harrison; son, Willie Lawrence Harrison; brothers, Louie and Roger Dale
Harrison; sister, Doris Harrison. He is survived by his wife of 57
years, Ruby Harrison; children, Sandra (Phillip) Wright, Steven
Harrison and Corey Harrison; grandchildren, Joseph (Catherine) Wright
and Jacob Wright; great-granddaughter, Ellie Grace Wright.
In lieu of flowers the family request donation be made to Hospice of the Shoals.
