Willie Gussie Martin, age 95, of Attalla, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022. Miss Martin was born November 4, 1926. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Collier Butler Funeral Home. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 1:00 PM at Forrest Cemetery. Miss Martin will be laid to rest in Forrest Cemetery.
Miss Martin had worked as a secretary for an insurance office. She was a lifelong member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church
Miss Martin was preceded in death by her parents Joseph Martin and Gussie Rawls Martin; sister Minnie Milam; brother in law Joe Milam, and special nephew Troy Morrison
Miss Martin is survived by her special nephew James “Jim” Milam and her nephew Larry Milam (Rita); nieces Billie Joe Self, Rosella Farlow, Dean Pace, and Annette Tate; and special great nephew.
Serving as pallbearers are Chris Milam, Dr. Mani Shah, Ian Shaw, Justin Powell and Brent Powell.
