Willie Dalton Bevis “Tadpole”, 86 of Waterloo passed away March 25, 2026 at his home. Visitation will be at Hendrix Chapel on Monday, March 30, 2026 from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. The funeral will follow at 2:00. Interment will be at Hendrix Chapel Cemetery. Wayne Wood will officiate. Mr. Bevis was a self-employed machine operator.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Bevis; mother, Cora Bevis; father, Griffin Bevis; sisters, Margaret Brewer; Lois Young; brothers, Eugene Bevis; Louie Bevis.
Mr. Bevis is survived by his daughter, Brenda Sharp (Tim); son, Terry Bevis (Crystal); brother, Jimmy Bevis; Grandchildren, Brandon Sharp (Amanda); Brandi Ray; Matthew Bevis (Megan); Jeremy Bevis (Laken); Great Grandchildren, Alton Sharp; Maranda Sharp; Jacob Sharp; Bryleigh Ray; Bailey Ray.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Bevis; Jeremy Bevis; Brandon Sharp; Alton Sharp; Randall Woods; Buddy McClure.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the Amedisys Hospice nurses, Makayla and Paige. A special thank you to Judy, Karen, Kayla, Brenda, and Connie for taking such good care of Tadpole.
