Funeral service for Willie Alice Hicks of Athens, Alabama will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 12:00 noon at Oak Grove CME Church (11460 Cowford Rd, Athens, AL 35611) with the Rev. Dr. Shirley H. Fletcher officiating. The body will lie in state from 11:00 a.m. until funeral time. Interment and committal will be at Oak Grove CME cemetery.
Public viewing will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 12:00 noon until 7:00 p.m. at the Peoples Funeral Home.
