William Travis Jones – Obituary

WilliamMr. William Travis Jones was born January 6, 1940 to Willie Jones and Ella McDaniel in Oakville, Alabama. He died on September 29, 2013 at Summa Akron Hospital in Akron, OH. He is was preceded in death by eight siblings; Howard Jones, Carl Jones, A.J. Jones, Buddy Jones, Jorene Jones, Maxie Lee Jones, Susit Jones and Maglene Taylor.

Travis never met a stranger. He loved to make jokes, have fun, play the lottery, go to Burger King, scrapping and playing poker. He retired from A. Schulman Plastic Company.

Travis leaves to cherish his memory two daughters; Lizzie M. Porter of Town Creek, Alabama and Roxie Penman of Avon Ohio, three grandchildren; Nataschia Penman, Nathenael Penman and Camary Garner, a very special friend; Beulah Singletary of Akron, Ohio and her children; Debra Singletary and Wendell Singletary, two sisters; Louise Jones and Dorothy Jones both of Denver Colorado, a special niece; Jean Jones and a special nephew; Ronald Jones both of North courtland, Alabama and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
