Mr. William Thornton, age 53, passed away on Monday in Lexington. He was born November 16, 1967 in Shelby County. He was a salesman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family. Mr. Thornton was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Lee Thornton. Survivors include his mother, Jo Ann Tucker Thornton; his wife of 27 years, Sonda Thornton; his daughter, Aleshia Croom (Chandler); his son, Kenneth Lee Thornton; and two grandchildren, Owen Chandler and Callie Jo Croom. The family has chosen private services.
