A Visitation for William T. Smith, 83, will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home. The graveside service and interment held will be a private family service.
Mr. Smith died on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at his residence. He was born October 31, 1936, in Mobile County to William Alexander Smith and Helen Pauline Scott Smith. He was employed as a Huntsville City School System Administrator prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Grace Point Baptist Church, a member of the AHSAA and the Alabama National Guard. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Preceding him in death were his parents, a son: Mark William Smith, and a sister: Mary Helen Dees.
